Functional Specification

• A detailed description, from the user perspective, of how the final solution will look and behave
• Instructions to developers on what to build
• Basis for estimating work
• Basis for building the master plan and schedule
• Agreement with customer on exactly what to build
• Point of synchronization for whole team
• The functional specification can only be changed with customer approval

Master Plan / Schedule

• All individual role plans and time schedule estimates are synchronized into the Master Plan / Schedule

• Performance audit report with suggestions for maximizing system performance
