This course covers all aspects of the inventory and basic warehousing functionality available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, as well as conceptual information on inventory management in general. This course also provides background information to set up Microsoft Dynamics NAV for inventory management.

Trade in Microsoft Dynamics NAV™ 2009

This course explores all of the activities required to handle the purchase, sale, and return of inventory in the program. This course will show you how to manage sales and purchase transactions,including prices and discounts, item charges and order promising. Requisition management will be covered, as well as returns management and customer service features.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students must have: • General knowledge of Microsoft® Windows® • The ability to use Microsoft Dynamics NAV financials for financials processing • Taken the Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 course • Knowledge of basic business processes and ERP user roles • Basic knowledge of distribution and logistics

Agenda:

• Course hours will be 11:30am - 5:00pm each day (EST) • Students are expected to log-on to their virtual learning environment a few minutes before class each day to ensure they are ready for the class start time
