This two-day course, Manufacturing I in Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV 5.0, explores the module from an end-user’s point of view. This course includes order setup and processing, including setup of the produced item and execution of production. This process enables users to identify what is being produced, what needs to be produced, and what needs to be purchased or produced and when.

At Course Completion

The course completion objectives are for students to: • Understand and Create Production Bill of Materials • Understand and Create Capacities & Routings • Create and process Production Orders • Generate Finishing Orders and Auto Reporting

Manufacturing II in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0

This three-day course, Manufacturing II in Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV 5.0, explores the module from an end-user’s point of view. This course includes order setup and processing, including setup of the produced item and execution of production. This process enables users to identify what is being produced, what needs to be produced, and what needs to be purchased or produced and when.

At Course Completion

The course completion objectives are for students to: • Be familiar with the Sales Order Interface • Create Forecast and MPS • Create and use Plans related to manufacturing • Work with Advanced Capacity • Use Shop Loading • Use Standard Task Codes • Define BOM Scrap and Routing Scrap • Use multi-level manufacturing

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students must have: • A strong understanding of manufacturing terminology and processes • An ability to use Microsoft Dynamics NAV for financials processing • Completion of the Inventory Control in Microsoft Dynamics NAV course (recommended, but not required)
